You probably know that lemons are great for our skin. The citrus fruit contains a lot of citric acid which can exfoliate and whiten the skin. It will also stimulate skin regeneration on a cellular level and reduce the appearance of stretch marks as well. The fruit’s beneficial on its own, but lemons work even better when mixed with sugar.
You will need:
- Lemon juice (from 1 lemon)
- 2 tablespoons of sugar
- A tablespoon of almond oil
- A couple drops of coconut oil
Squeeze a lemon in a small bowl, then add the almond oil and sugar and mix well. Rub the mixture on your skin gently in small circular motion and massage it, then take a lukewarm shower to wash it off. In the end, massage your skin with coconut oil to keep it hydrated and smooth.
A few tips on stretch marks elimination
Your best bet of removing stretch marks is to exfoliate your skin every day. Buy a special skin sponge which can remove dead skin cells efficiently and use it on the affected area every day to easily get rid of them. Taking hot baths and massaging the affected area can help as well.
Sunbathing can also reduce the appearance of stretch marks, but make sure not to sit in the sun for too long or you’ll damage your skin. Drink plenty of water to stay hydrated – water will make your skin more elastic and prevent the stretch marks from appearing.
Vitamin E is great for eliminating stretch marks. There are many almond vitamin E-rich creams that you can use to massage the affected areas and eliminate the stretch marks.
