Scars can be internal due to surgery or external due to injury or acne and even chickenpox.
Formation of scars
During the process of healing, the damaged part is covered with connective tissue since the tissue regeneration cannot be fully completed and collagen production is increased. This continues for at least 3 months and scars are fed trough blood vessel getting a red colour.
The scars cannot be supplied with blood once the collagen production decreases therefore they change colour and become fainter, softer and smoother.
The following are remedies to heal scars with home remedies:
Mix 1tbsp of each ingredient and apply to your face let it sit for 10 minutes and rinse with warm water.
To increase regeneration use the following products:

Mix baking soda with water and apply the paste rinse after it has dried up. Do this 3 times weekly. It will exfoliate your skin and treat infections.
Use olive oil to massage your face. It has vitamin C and E and unsaturated fatty acids which will help whiten the scar.
