The Noodles That Cause Chronic Inflammation, Weight Gain, Alzheimer’s And Parkinson’s Disease!

Many people don’t have time for lunch or dinner, so they tend to eat instant noodles which are considered as a healthy food or at least not that bad as burrito or fries and burger.

Even after 2 hours of consuming them, the noodles were remarkably intakt and this is very serious. For instance, it may be a string put on the digestive system that is forced to work long in order to break down the highly processed foods. The food shouldn’t remain in the digestive system for long time because it impacts the nutrient absorption. However, noodles don’t have much nutrients but a list of additives like TBHQ (toxic preservative teriary butyl hydroquinone).

The bad news is that the TBHQ will remain in our digestive system and it isn’t known what it does to our health.

TBHQ is an additive that is a byproduct of the petroleum industry and it is listed as antioxidant. Nevertheless, this asynthetic chemical that has antioxidant properties is not a natural antioxidant. It is actually used to prevent the oxidation of oils and fats and to extend processed food’s shelf-life.
It is used in processed foods like Taco Bell beans, Red Baron frozen pizza, Teddy Grahams, Wheat Thins crackers, Reese’s peanut butter cups, Kellogg’s CHEEZ-IT crackers; McDonald’s chicken nuggets and much more.

Moreover, it can be found in varnishes, lacquers, perfumes, cosmetics and pesticides as well.

At the Joint FAO\WHO Expert Committee on Food Additive’s nineteenth and twenty-first meeting was determined that this additive is safe for consumption at levels of 0 to 0.5mg/kg of the body weight.
Depending on the food that it is added to, the Codex commission has set the maximum limits to 100-400 mg/kg. In the United States the Food and Drug administration required that the additive mustn’t exceed 0.02% of it fat and oil content.

TBHQ, according to the A Consumer’s Dictionary of Food additives, can cause:

Vomiting, nausea, tinnitus (ringing in the ears), delirium, sense of suffocation and collapse.

The consumption of instant noodles can cause the body to get prolonged exposures. According to the EWG (Environmental Working Group) which is based on animal studies, the TBHQ includes:

Effects over the liver at very low doses, positive results of mutation from In-vitro tests in the mammalian cells, biochemical changes (at low doses) and reproductive effects (at high doses).

The Journal of Nutrition’s study found that the women that have eaten more instant noodle has bigger risk of metabolic syndrome than those  who consumed less. So you should have this in mind the next time you plan to eat noodles.

Those women who consumed noodles more that 2 times a week, were 68% more likely to have metabolic syndrome which is a group of symptoms like low levels of HDL cholesterol, central obesity, elevated blood pressure, elevated fasting triglycerides, and  elevated fasting blood sugar.

Having 3 or more than 3 symptoms is increasing the risk of developing cardiovascular disease or diabetes. One research analyzed the nutrient intake between those who consume noodles and those one who don’t and it was discovered that consuming noodles contributes little value to a healthy diet.

For instance, those who consume noodles have a lower nutrient intake like vitamin C, vitamin A, calcium, niacin, iron, phosphorus, potassium and and protein compared with people who don’t consume noodles. Moreover, people who consume noodles have an excessive energy intake, sodium and unhealthy fats.

Noodles contain wheat flour, salt and palm oil, where the main ingredients of the flavoring powder are sugar, salt, seasoning and monosodium glutamate.

In 2012, the KFDA found Benzopyrene in 6 noodle brands from the Nong Shim Company Ltd which is a cancer causing substance. You should definitely avoid noodles due to the MSG (monosodium glutamate) because it is an excitotoxin that overexcites the nerve cells causing brain damage or dysfunction or worsening or triggering learning disabilities like Lou Gehrig’s disease, Parkinson’s disease, Alzheimer’s and more.

You should know that it won’t kill you if you consume a package of noodles, but if you consume them on a regular basis, it will develop many health problems. Since they are high in artificial ingredients like refined carbohydrates, fructose and sugar and low in fiber and nutrients, they encourage chronic disease or weight gain. The consumption of processed food promotes chronic inflammation and insulin resistance, the hallmarks of most serious and chronic diseases.

In order to avoid consuming processed foods, you need to plan your meals in advance and take it step by step to painlessly eliminate the processed foods from the diet. The best thing to do is to plan a week of meals in advance with all the needed ingredients and you can also use the leftovers for the next day for lunch. In this way, you won’t have to resort to instant noodles.
